How do I get a deeper result from my mousse?
Searching for a deeper, darker tan? Here are three ways to get even darker results.
1. Use your 2 HR Express Mousse and leave it on for 6 – 8 hours.
2. Apply a second layer of mousse 60 seconds after the first.
3. Once developed, use your Deluxe Gradual Tan to enhance your results even further.

Is Loving Tan cruelty-free?
Yes! Loving Tan is cruelty-free and never tests on animals. All of our products are derived from natural and organic ingredients.
Can I use Loving Tan when I’m pregnant/breast-feeding?
Loving Tan are derived with no nasties. They contain no alcohol, parabens or hash chemicals and are very gentle on the skin. Self-tanning does not create airborne particles like spray tans, so this does make it the safer option of the two.
We recommend that you check with your doctor or specialist first though as we are not in the position to provide medical advice. We do have many customers who have used our products whilst pregnant or breast-feeding but do recommend that you obtain medical advice in the first instance.

Will the self-tanner stain my clothing?
We always recommend avoiding contact with light fabrics and furnishing, especially when the tan is developing, to avoid any transferring.
How do I tan my hands and feet?
As Loving Tan products are professional strength, we always recommend applying a generous amount of moisturiser to your hands, wrists, elbows, ankles, and feet immediately prior to tanning.
This acts as a barrier for the tan and will prevent the tan from over developing on these areas. Always apply the tan using an applicator mitt as this protects your hands from staining and provides an even finish. A good tip to achieve perfect hands is to use a very light layer with a make-up sponge or brush for a flawless finish.
How long does it take for the tan to develop after rinsing off the colour guide?

What is the difference between the Deluxe Bronzing Mousse and 2 HR Express Mousse?
The only difference between the 2 Hr Express Mousse and the Deluxe Bronzing Mousse is the application time. The Deluxe Bronzing Mousse works best when rinsed off after six to eight hours, while the 2 Hr Express Mousse can be rinsed off in just two hours.
Both mousses will leave your skin with the same bronzed results and last for seven – ten days on your skin.
How do I get flawless results with dry skin?
For people with dry skin, we recommend thoroughly exfoliating prior to application as this process removes all your dry skin cells which in turn ensures the longevity of the tan.
We also suggest drinking plenty of water and moisturising daily after each shower to ensure your skin remains hydrated. Your results should last a full 7-10 days with hydrated skin.
Can I sleep with the tan on?
Yes, you can sleep in your Loving Tan. We would recommend that you wear long sleeved/legged clothing so that any colour transfer does not occur onto your bedding.
Can I swim or exercise with the product on?
Yes, your Deluxe Bronzing Mousse will deliver flawless results that are thoroughly water and sweat proof once the tan is fully developed. Many lifestyle factors can also affect your tan results, so we recommend using our Deluxe Gradual Tan as a tan extender every two to three days or when your tan begins to fade.
What can I do if the shade I purchased is too dark?
It is possible to achieve a lighter result using the dark. Simply rinse off the tan earlier at 4-6 hours (rather than 8 hours). This will prevent the tan development and will give you a lighter shade (I would suggest 4 hours then rinse and you can build from there).
Can I use Loving Tan on sensitive skin?
Loving Tan self-tans are 100% naturally derived with no nasties. They contain no alcohol, no parabens or harsh chemicals and are very gentle on the skin.
However, given your sensitivity issues, we always recommend that you check with your dermatologist or doctor prior to applying any skin care products. Your dermatologist will be best to discuss product types with you including self-tanners.
We also suggest you discuss with your doctor or dermatologist an alternative to self-tan such as is our Loving Tan instant body make-up. Our Deluxe Body Make-Up for example may also be suitable to help you achieve a tan. What is the shelf life of Loving Tan products?
Loving Tan tanning products are a very stable solution and have a shelf life of 6-12 months once opened. This is dependent on how it is stored and can last up to 18 months if kept out of direct sunlight and in cool location.
Do the products contain sunscreen / SPF?
None of our Loving Tan products contain sunscreen. Once your tan has fully developed (after 24 hours), we recommend applying a sunscreen to your face and body prior to going out into the sun to prevent skin damage.

How do I make a warranty claim?
If for any reason you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we will give you a 30-day money back guarantee from the time you receive your products. Click here to fill out a return form and we can assist in processing your return and resolve any issues.
When you get in touch, photos can really help us understand your issue. We recommend that you include these in your return form so we will be able assist you faster.
I bought my Loving Tan products from a stockist. Is it still covered by warranty?
Unfortunately, we cannot cover products purchased from Loving Tan stockists. All items purchased from authorised retail partners must be returned to the retailer which the products were purchased in accordance with their return policies.
What happens to the returns process if I have opened or lightly sampled the product?
“Lightly sampled” means a product that may have some signs of minor wear or use but must not be damaged. If you wish to return a product that has lightly sampled, opened or unwrapped, you may be eligible for an exchange/store credit. Once orders are placed, they may not be able to be edited, added to, or cancelled. Please contact us as soon as possible if there is a problem with your order. Addresses and orders cannot be changed once the order has been processed through our warehouse and/or dispatched.
If you place your order over a weekend or on a public holiday it will be processed and sent out over the following business days (Monday – Fridays).
When will my product be dispatched?
All orders received before 1 pm (AEST) are dispatched at latest the next business day and delivered within 2-7 business days within metro areas. All orders are fully traceable, and a tracking notification will be emailed to you as soon as your order is dispatched.

Am I eligible for same day dispatch?
Orders placed before 1pm AEST on Monday to Friday and shipped via Express only, are eligible to same day dispatch.
Orders shipped via Australia Post eParcel Standard are not eligible for same day dispatch.
